What to Expect On Your First Visit:

You will be welcomed to our office by our friendly staff, and escorted back to the consultation room where you will first fill out a minimal amount of paperwork. Once finished, one of our two doctors will come in to meet with you for a detailed consultation. After the consultation, the doctor will take you to the exam room where he or she will perform a comprehensive evaluation, and take x-rays if deemed necessary by the doctor.

For your initial appointment please allow a minimum of one hour to ensure you get the most out of your visit.

After your first appointment, you will be scheduled for a Report of Findings. During this appointment the doctor will go over your examination and x-ray findings, as well as a recommended treatment plan, and payment options.

TYPES OF CARE

We offer three types of chiropractic care. The doctors will make recommendations and give you options so you can choose what fits your goals.

Categories

Pain relief is typically what brings patients through our doors initially. The first phase of chiropractic care is called Initial Intensive Care or Pain Relief Care.

The goals of Initial Intensive Care are to increase function to the joints that are not moving enough, decrease swelling, muscle spasms and pain.

REHABILITATIVE CARE OR ADVANCED CORRECTIVE CARE

The second phase of chiropractic care is called Rehabilitative Care or Advanced Corrective Care. Goals are to correct the underlying structural and functional postural deformities to the spine and nervous system, producing better posture, balance, gait, less stress, and a stronger, flexible and more stable spine.

Treatment includes spinal adjustments, traction, mirror image adjustments, various exercises including sensory and motor exercises (balance, strengthening, flexibility, proprioceptive, mobility, postural, gait, and spinal stabilization), BackSafe® and SittingSafe® workshops, Creative visualization/Relaxation, interferential muscle stimulation and ice.

WELLNESS CARE OR MAINTENANCE CARE

The third phase of chiropractic care is Wellness Care or Maintenance Care. When patients have completed initial Intensive Care and/or Advanced Corrective Care then many opt to start Wellness Care.

The purpose of Wellness Care is to maintain your progress with regular chiropractic check-ups to insure proper spinal function.
